Oasis uses a patent-pending instant switching curved liquid crystal lens. The lens can be adjusted between three states (Light, Medium, Dark) by pressing the button on the Oasis device. The lens has transparent sections which do not dim or obscure your main field of view.

How is Oasis different from other focus tools I’ve tried?

Oasis works with your environment, not against you.
Rather than training your attention over time, Oasis adjusts what surrounds you so you can get into flow more quickly.
It does not feel like another task to manage.
It sits on your desk until you choose to use it.
Its effect is consistent because it is physical.
There is nothing to remember, track, or maintain.

When should I wear Oasis?

Wear Oasis when you need a space to focus. Some people use it for short, demanding tasks.
Others use it for longer periods of sustained work. You can wear it all day or only when the task calls for it.

Will Oasis fit me?

Oasis is designed as a unisex frame with an extended hinge for flexibility. It fits small to medium head sizes comfortably.

How can I stay up to date on my order?

We send regular email updates throughout the production process.

How do I provide my prescription?

If you have selected prescription lenses, we will contact you closer to production to collect your prescription details. If your prescription is complex, you may prefer to have your local optician install lenses into our accessory frame.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

You may cancel your pre-order before production begins. Once delivered, Oasis can be returned within 14 days.

Is this backed by research?

Oasis forms part of an ongoing PhD at University College Dublin under our co-founder, Joel. Formal academic trials are planned as part of this research. If you would like to learn more about the research, you are welcome to contact us.

Does Oasis affect my eyesight?

Oasis does not dim your central vision. Your eyes continue to adjust naturally to light conditions. It should not affect your eyesight.

Are there any side effects?

Some people experience mild eye strain at first as they adjust to the vignette effect. If this happens, take breaks.
The sensation typically settles with use.

How lightweight are the glasses?

Oasis weighs 36 grams. It is designed to be worn comfortably for extended periods.
